How does it work?
Each volunteer is paired up with a child from anywhere around the world.
A list of themes/conversation starters for each day in the 15 day period will be sent out at the beginning of the time frame.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE!
Volunteers will then converse and connect with the children through voice or video calls for about half an hour a day.
NOTE: Parents can also request extra activities for their volunteers to do with the kids for example, movies, storytelling, homework help, word games, drawing, and other games.
Our Favorite Quote
"While meeting a student or child once or twice a month may not seem like a huge impact, mentors are creating positive change in the lives of their students. Mentors become someone that youth look up to and trust; and youth may see their own dreams in their mentor. Being a mentor is a rewarding experience that allows us to be the person our younger selves needed."
